Purpose:  Learn  ALL about the Los Altos Hills Community Fiber project – Overview, operational neighborhoods, local neighborhood builds and champion and general question/answers

Meet with your local neighborhood champion!

Presentations and Meeting agenda

  • 3 PM Start –  (or evening start)
  • 1 Minute – Short welcome by LAH Mayor to help encourage folks to participate in this community event.
  • 5 Minute opening remarks,  introductions, LAHCF board members
  • 5-10 Minute presentation-  Community Broadband advocate  – Topic – Why Community Broadband is the best method for offering fiber connectivity for communities today. (check with Anna Eshoo’s policy director to find suitable speaker/presenter)
  • LAHCF Presentation – 15 Minutes – LAHCF board member –  Explaining membership model, Next Level Networks Relationship,   neighborhood build champion model, current operational neighborhoods, backhaul and general build design, and current projects in development  (similar to what we did for our annual meeting)
  • Next Level Network Presentation – 10 minutes – Introducing them and their business model, information,  some technology as needed.
  • LAHCF Neighborhood Champions– 5 minutes  – Explain how to find your closest neighborhood champion, how to  become one yourself, and show the mapping tool and interest level
  • Question /Answers – 15 minutes
  • 30 minutes – Social and food gathering and neighborhood champions and local meeting other and making connections and exchanging contact information for those onsite meeting.  Virtual meeting attendees can break into individual zoom conference rooms.
