There are always several projects that are actively being planned. This means that the neighborhood champion is recruiting new members and the engineering team is figuring out the best route and the cost of the project.
Listed here are the most active projects who are most likely to be constructed during 2024 or early 2025.
- Rockpoint Lane off of north Summerhill (potentially serving 10 homes)
- Olive Tree Lane, Part 2 (potentially serving 10 homes)
- Lower Robleda Road to Quail Lane including Ciceroni, Beatrice, Robleda Ct. and Orchard Hill Lane (potentially serving over 18 homes). This project will also directly connect the Quail, Wildflower, Wildcrest fiber island to the main cabinet on Fremont Pines Lane.
- Town Hall Hookup is currently being planned and negotiated with the Town of Los Altos Hills.
- Foothill College and LAH ARK project will connect Foothill to our backbone. It will also provide dark fiber to the town from the townhall to the ARK to support emergency services.
- Stonebrook to La Loma will connect fiber all the way from our head end cabinet to Foothill, on to Stonebrook and then connecting with our Rhus Ridge –> La Loma backbone.
If you have any interest in these three projects or want to find out more, please contact info@lahcommunityfiber.org. We will make sure that you will get all the information you need to become part of the project.
