At any given point, there are typically several projects that are under construction. The construction phase might be as short as a few weeks or as long as a year. During this phase, the exact route for the backbone has already been determined as have the households that will be connected during this phase.
Currently, there are no backbone construction projects; however several are deep in the planning phase and construction should start soon.l
